In 2004, I travelled alone to Egypt, drawn by a lifelong fascination with the ancient world. What began as a journey to explore its temples, pyramids and monuments became something much more — a journey of discovery, reflection and inner transformation.

Egypt: Journey Through Antiquity follows that nineteen-day journey, from Cairo and the pyramids of Giza to Luxor, the Nile, Aswan, Abu Simbel and the ancient sites of Middle Egypt. Illustrated with photographs taken during the journey, the book brings together the places I encountered, the experiences I recorded, and the reflections that remained with me long after I returned home.
